InfluenceLogic’s Mission to Support the Community

Here at InfluenceLogic, we are committed to supporting the community and are constantly looking for ways that we can help. We have chosen to partner with the Homeless ID Project in their efforts to end homelessness. Everyone needs some sort of identification. Homeless individuals need an ID to access services, get a job or find housing. Those living on the streets or in a shelter often lose their documents, or get them stolen. The mission of the Homeless ID Project is to end homelessness for individuals and families.

What Is the Homeless ID Project?

What began as a small outreach effort 33 years ago has evolved into an established office on the Human Services Campus in downtown Phoenix and partnership programs across the Valley. Homeless ID Project is the only organization in Arizona with a singular focus on helping men, women, and children experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives by obtaining identification.

How does having an ID impact a life?

  1. Permanent housing – signing a lease
  2. Employment – obtain a stable income
  3. Medical care – access to medical care
  4. Education – enroll children in school

Services the Homeless ID project provides:

  1. Replacement documents
  2. Financial Assistance
  3. File Storage
  4. Additional Help

Why Did InfluenceLogic Choose the Homeless ID Project?

Homelessness is a rising issue not just in the Phoenix community, but around the nation. Not only does the Homeless ID Project provide homeless individuals with Identification, their  partners also offer referrals for food and housing, rehabilitation programs, medical assistance, and other services.

So why did InfluenceLogic choose the Homeless ID Project? Steve Mesa, InflueceLogic COO, said this: “We have ties to creators and brands across the country and even the world, and most of our team members are located in different states, but by far the community that has had the biggest impact on our success has been Phoenix. We are very adamant about using our company and platform to make the world a better place and this principle applies to both creators being able to earn a living, but also to those who do not have the opportunity to pursue something like this because they are in need of basic necessities like shelter and food. This is where our commitment to making the world a better place begins. It begins with helping people who need it the most and the Homeless ID Project is a great vehicle to help our team members and company work towards this goal.”

Oftentimes, people who have ID don’t even think twice about it. It’s just a small piece of plastic, but if you are someone who has not had an ID for years, it helps you take your identity back. Rick Mitchell, Executive Director of Homeless ID Project said it best: “Business owners feel moved and inspired by our mission and want to share that mission with their employees in order to create a culture within that organization that recognizes the value of helping in our community.”
